Baltimore, MD – Qualytics, the leading platform for data quality enterprise solutions, announced the addition of technology maven and business strategist Bill Murphy to its Board of Directors. Bill’s expertise will enable Qualytics to further enhance its product strategy and grow its market share. Bill’s experience in board service includes technology and growth-driven advisory for numerous companies including Accurics, Cherre, Phantom Cyber, iLevel, and Carbon Black.
“The use and volume of data in the enterprise is growing exponentially while the quality of that data is falling precipitously. The Qualytics platform is a critical component for CIOs and CDOs as they begin to proactively implement data quality programs.” said Bill Murphy. “Data quality has been largely ignored and Qualytics is changing that. I look forward to helping Qualytics lead that change.”
Bill Murphy currently serves as managing partner at Cresting Wave and Senior Advisor at McKinsey and Co. working with early-stage technology companies to accelerate business growth. His work to match innovative solutions with the right early adopter customers is an ideal quality to support Qualytics’ vision. Prior to this role, Bill served as CTO at the world’s largest alternative asset manager, Blackstone, where he managed the technology investment portfolio and oversaw integration of the firm’s technology.
Bill began his career accelerating product-led strategies as the founding CTO for Capital IQ, a web-based financial information and analytics platform and one of the first true SaaS companies that was acquired by S&P Global Market Intelligence. While leading product design, development, infrastructure and technology support for all business operations, the company grew from just an idea to over $300 million in revenue and 5,000 employees during his tenure.
“Bill knows first hand how large enterprises use and struggle with their data. His experience and expertise is the perfect fit as Qualytics serves more enterprises.” said Gorkem Servinc, CEO of Qualytics, “We are excited to have Bill’s leadership on our board.”
The Qualytics platform uses its proprietary machine learning algorithms to automatically train models on either incoming or historical data to infer data quality rules and surface anomalies for human intervention. Qualytics seamlessly connects to and continuously learns from your databases, warehouses, and object stores, proactively improving data quality through anomaly detection, signaling, workflow, and enrichment. Gain confidence in your data with Qualytics.
